Adult and Juvenile Myositis (Studies in the Natural History & Pathogenesis of Childhood-Onset and Adult-Onset Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathies) This study will evaluate subjects with adult- and childhood-onset myositis to learn more about the cause of the disease and associated immune system changes.

Bethesda, MD

Environmental Exposure and Injury Study This study aims to identify the interaction of host and environmental factors in the response to injury and the development of disease, and to develop better methodological tools that quantify host-environmental interactions in health and disease.

Research Triangle Park, NC

Girl’s Menstrual Health Study The broad goal of these studies is to determine the physiologic and pathophysiologic underpinnings of irregular menstrual cycles among adolescents in the early postmenarchal period.

Research Triangle Park, NC

Study Overview: Demystifying a Girl’s First Period
Molecular Basis of Inherited Reproductive Disorders Study During puberty, children begin to develop into adults. Problems with the hormones released during puberty can affect the reproductive system. Some people have low hormone levels that severely delay or prevent puberty. Others start puberty abnormally early. Other people may have a normal puberty but develop reproductive disorders later in life. Researchers want to study people with reproductive disorders to learn more about how these disorders may be inherited.

The MYORISK Study (Environmental Risk Factors for the Anti-Synthetase Syndrome) The study will investigate the genetic and environmental risk factors involved in the development of myositis, an autoimmune muscle disease that causes chronic muscle weakness.

Bethesda, MD

Study Overview: Myorisk Study
The SOLIS Study This is a phase 2a, open-label, study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of H01 in adults with progressive interstitial lung disease.
